kind words from the
hearts we’ve held

There’s nothing more honoring than supporting our people as they walk along their path and move through the seasons of life. Here’s what clients are saying about their experience with Intuitive Heart.

Can I bring my baby in to see you?

YES. Please bring in your baby for care. Birth is the first big physical stress that a baby experiences. This care supports baby as he or she lands into their body and navigates this new world. A baby’s neurology is rapidly developing in the first year of life, making new neuronal connections every second, so it is imperative there are no major interferences affecting the momentum and progress of this development. This care can be extra supportive if your baby is experiencing latching or feeding troubles, digestive problems, motor milestone delays or skips, plagiocephaly (flat spot on cranium), tension or rigidity in the muscular tone, the inability to soothe, or overall lack of ease.

We use a gentle, tonal approach when working with infants, utilizing components of chiropractic, craniosacral therapy, and fascial unwinding. This approach helps baby to reconnect and re-establish integrity and coherence in their neurology, allowing them to access safety perception and express freely in their body so that they can grow and thrive with ease.

Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?

Yes, Chiropractic care is safe and supportive from preconception through birth and beyond. The woman goes through big physical, chemical, and emotional shifts during pregnancy, and this care is a nurturing constant support. Pregnancy is not a symptom, but rather a beautiful expansive journey. Chiropractic adjustments can relieve any common pregnancy symptoms such as round ligament pain, lower back discomfort, reflux, shortness of breath, and fatigue, while also optimizing baby position in the womb and create an overall sense of ease for both mom and baby. This work honors the nervous system, encouraging the woman to stay present in her body and connected with her baby. It is also vital during the postpartum period as the woman navigates this new version of herself and tends to her baby.

Do you work with men?

Yes, we welcome and encourage the men to experience this care too. This work is for everyone. Our men deserve to be supported and cared for as they move through the stressors, pressures and perceived expectations that life presents. We see a range of men from the athletically driven ones seeking better function and performance, to the new dads navigating the extra responsibilities, to the ones who put themselves on the backburner, to the retired grandfathers adapting to a different pace of life. We love to care for them all.

Do you take insurance?

No, we do not accept insurance as a form of payment. We accept cash, card, or FSA/HSA accounts.

How often should I come in?

We are not here to tell you what to do, but we will encourage you to tune into your body and notice what is different after each session, letting that be your guide. We all have different goals for care. At first, it might be used to relieve aches, pains or general dis-ease, but our hope is that this care becomes something you choose because you continue to feel more alive, more vital, and more connected after each session. Most of our clients come in weekly, every other week, or monthly depending on what season of life they are in.
